Sundry tracks how much of each medication you have left, so you know when to reorder before you run out.
Email joshua.w.lyons@outlook.com and you'll get a reply. Telling us your iPhone model and iOS version helps.
How does it know how much I have left? You enter a count once. Sundry works out the rest from your dosing schedule, so there is nothing to log each day.
My count drifted — how do I fix it? Open the medication and tap Update Count. The projection restarts from whatever number you enter.
Does it remind me to take my medication? Only if you ask it to. Each medication has three choices: Off, Gentle (one standard alert), or Persistent (Time Sensitive follow-ups until you explicitly respond or stop that dose). A normal swipe does not resolve a Persistent reminder. On iOS 26 and later, Persistent can also use an allowed alarm-style reminder. Check Settings → Reminder delivery health if an alert does not arrive.
Can someone read a medication name from my lock screen? Sundry always uses a partially masked name in notification and alarm titles, even when full names are visible inside the app. Notification actions require the iPhone to be unlocked. For the strongest privacy, set iPhone notification previews to When Unlocked or Never; Sundry shows your current preview setting under Reminder delivery health.
Can Sundry guarantee a reminder? No app can guarantee an ordinary iPhone notification. Keep notifications, sounds, Time Sensitive alerts, and Background App Refresh enabled. On iOS 26 and later, allowing Sundry's alarm permission provides the strongest device delivery path available. Sundry should support, not replace, the medication safety plan you make with your doctor or pharmacist.
What happens when I travel? Supply days keep using the geography where you last counted, so crossing a time zone does not invent or remove medication. Separately, each medication can keep the same local clock time or remain tied to its selected home time zone. Sundry explains both clocks when you are away.
Can I use Sundry without an account? Yes. Every medication feature works locally without an account. Secure Backup & Sync is optional and uses Continue with Apple as its only sign-in method.
Can I use multiple devices? Yes. Secure Backup & Sync is optional in Settings, and medication contents and reminder responses are encrypted on the iPhone before Supabase receives them. Encrypted response events reconcile across devices so answering the same dose through two delivery paths does not apply it twice. On another Apple device, Sundry normally restores the encryption key through iCloud Keychain automatically. If that is unavailable, an existing signed-in device can scan the new iPhone's one-time QR code, compare a short matching code, and approve with Face ID or passcode. You can also use the optional Recovery Kit.
Can I keep my own copy? Yes. Settings → Export all Sundry data creates a portable JSON file. It contains full medication names even when the app is masking them, so save it somewhere private.
Do my medications leave my phone? Not unless you choose a cloud feature. Backup & Sync uploads only client-encrypted medication records and reminder-response events, plus the account and opaque record metadata needed to sync them. Camera counting and photo import send the one selected image to Sundry's Netlify service and OpenAI after you agree. See the privacy policy for the exact details.
How do I delete everything? Delete a medication by swiping it in the list, and use Secure Backup & Sync → Delete cloud account to remove the live cloud copy. Deleting Sundry removes the local database. If you exported a file, delete that separately wherever you saved it.
